Lifan 520
The first Chinese designed vehicle to be ADR certified for sale in Australia is the Lifan 520. To be imported and distributed by China Motor Franchise (Australia) Pty Ltd, the light-sized sedan will be powered by an in-house designed four-cylinder DOHC engine with pricing expected to start from $12,500.> Full Story

Hyundai launched its all-new i20 light hatch at the 2008 Paris show, which replaces the Getz in Europe but will run alongside it here to help tackle the Toyota Yaris and Mazda2. Mazda MX-5
Mazda unveiled its facelifted MX-5 at the 2008 Paris motor show. Changes are minor, restricted to a new front bumper, a sleeker headlight design in the style of the current Mazda RX-8 and revised tail-lights. Phantom opera rolls on with Coupe
THE poster car for extreme capitalism is, so far, immune to the global financial meltdown. Despite having two fewer doors than the regular Phantom sedan, the new Phantom Coupe costs an extra $185,000 for a grand total of $1.1 million. Australians have already placed orders for three Coupes and Rolls-Royce expects to confirm two more very soon.
